Who We Are

The BREATHE OUT Foundation is a Not-For-Profit Organization (NPO) designed to help men and women just released from incarceration make a smooth transition back into the free society.

It is our goal to help this unique group of individuals to transform by renewing their thinking and building confidence.  This will be done by assisting them with finding gainful employment, providing support, resources and relatable services which will make their transition easier.

BREATHE OUT understands and empathizes with the needs of individuals coming out from being incarcerated for a period of time in their life and helps those individuals identify the mental and physical roadblocks hindering them from becoming fully functioning citizens while empowering them to take control of their future decisions and next steps.

With no condemnation about their past , we offer help, counseling, life coaching and guidance as they enter back into their new free lifestyle to ultimately become viable assets to the community and society as a whole. 

The purpose of the BREATHE OUT Organization is to serve as a release valve, allowing the newly released to forget those things behind them, to let go of those things past and to look towards a brighter future. A positive outlook on life provides an opportunity for a fresh start, and a renewing of the mind.. 

Our primary objective is to cut the recidivism rate for released inmates from returning back to criminal behavior or being rearrested for the same or different crime.  Paired with our Mission and Philosophy at hand is the belief that when we equip others, it becomes a win-win situation and renders positive results in the economy and safety in our society while supporting our men and women as they regain their value and status for themselves and the communities in which they re-enter.
